Our Mission
Five Furry Friends is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of felines in need. Our sanctuary serves as a temporary shelter where their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being is nurtured. This includes comprehensive veterinary care, a balanced diet, and a safe space for play and relaxation, ensuring their holistic health and happiness.
About
Five Furry Friends officially opened as a registered charity in October 2023.
Director, Marlene Prow fostered cats and kittens with Cheltenham Cat Rescue for 5 years, always wanting to do more to help the homeless & stray cat population of Melbourne & Victoria.
Marlene is an avid animal lover, and her desire to do more led to the creation of her very own cat & kitten rescue – Five Furry Friends. Five Furry Friends strives to make a lasting impact on the well-being of homeless and stray cats, aiming to create a community where every feline has a place to call home.
At Five Furry Friends we provide a safe, warm home, where we can nurture them back to health with love where we vow they will never be unwanted again. Our commitment is to provide these furry friends with not just shelter and sustenance but also the love and care they deserve.
Through our adoption program, we ensure our cats and kittens are adopted into loving forever homes.
